Abstract:

Mental health literacy (MHL) is crucial for higher education students, as it enables them to recognize, understand, and address mental health problems. It can contribute to greater happiness and psychological well-being, resulting in effective stress management and the ability to seek help. MHL positively influences satisfaction with academic life by fostering a supportive environment, reducing the impact of stress factors, and promoting a holistic approach to well-being.
This project will allow for a diagnosis of this dimension at IPSN and the implementation of a brief intervention tailored to the specific needs of students. The study will also enable the initiation of good practices for the promotion of mental health and well-being, as defined by the National Program for the Promotion of Mental Health in Higher Education (stepped care intervention, level 1).
